Week 10
Even though it is week 10 in our series… Renovation Project I am still really excited about each week. Today was another incredible day of discovering how we can become God’s best version of ourselves.
We are in phase 5 Deepening My Relationships – last week we talked about jumping in the deep end with God and how we only have one soul mate and that is Jesus Christ. This week we talked about Giving Life-Changing Relationships A Priority.
Sometimes when I am speaking I occasionally will get a really strong sense that God is really stirring in the hearts and minds of people and today was one of those experiences… this area of authentic – sincere or “no wax” relationships in the church is huge if we are ever going to really get connected with each other in a way that calls us up in this world.
The song that Nick closed with is Come As You Are by Pocket Full of Rocks. A really powerful song for sure.
I loved the song that Nick taught us that he and Michael (lead singer for PFoR and who wrote Come As You Are) when he and some other writers from Word Record Label were in town last week. We want to record a worship CD in 2011 that is all original worship written out of Renovation Stories and experiences. So stay tuned to that!
Sunday’s are awesome but we are having some great things happening in some of our groups in GroupLife so you might want to check those out at the GL kiosk.
We had a really fun Tail-Gate party down in the basement this afternoon and it was a great game!
