Sunday Night Rewind

Let me just get this off my chest… the Bills absolutely stink!

That’s better.

Week 3 of our series Renovation Project is in the books and I am loving what I an seeing and hearing and sensing in the hearts and lives of folks at Renovation.

I love looking around the room and seeing almost everyone with their journal’s out taking notes… young – old – men – women – students – it’s an awesome sight to see.

I feel that there is such a hunger in so many peoples lives to really discover how to live a life that is flourishing and to move away from the languishing life many are stuck in.

We moved into Phase 2 of our project… Flowing With the Spirit.

Flowing in the Spirit is not something we talk a lot about… but when Jesus shouted to a crowd some 2000 yrs ago that “if you are thirsty come and drink” he really meant it.

We started this morning by asking the question… is there really joy and freedom to be found in this life? The good news is that the answer is yes and it is available to all of us through the life giver -Jesus Christ.

We had another great Family Xperience in Renovation Station as we kicked off another month and another virtue… Initiative!

So proud of how Joshua and the leadership  team is leading our volunteers to help me and Gloria and other parents to teach, mentor, train up our children in away  that helps them discover God and to pursue Him passionately even at a young age.

The count down is on… 2 days till we launch XCEL.

We have been working non stop to get the top floor of the Renovation Center transformed into an environment that will blow families away in our community… we want a place that is nice, comfortable, clean, safe so that kids, teens and others will love coming to.

God has certainly been at work behind the scenes… when we step out in faith He provides what is needed and that is what is happening. I will keep you posted hopefully later this week on some cool partnerships that seem to be about to happen!

Please be praying for this week as we launch a new environment and experience that will allow us to build bridges relationally and turn on lights spiritually in our community!
