Sunday Night Review 08
4 weeks and counting!
That is right we are down to just 4 weeks in the Regal Theater. Caleb and I were talking as we were driving to set up today tat is is going to be a little weird (kids love doing church a theater) not setting up every Sunday. So thankful to have had this experience with Caleb. He has gotten up with me every Sunday and headed to join the Makeover Team around 7:15 almost since we launched – he was 7 when we started and now he is a real veteran at 9!
We had a lot of first time guest which is always a big deal for us at Elmwood/RENOVATION! I met a father and son of who came for the first time after running into an old friend this week (after 25 years of not seeing ea other) and so AL inVITED them to come and they did! very cool.
I really loved having Diann Takens Cerbone helping me in our conversation about what it means for us as a community of faith to love mercy, show justice and walk humbly with our God as we move into our “new” neighborhood!
Give it up for Renee singing with the band today – that girl can sing! Loved the worship AGAIN! Big Nick having his big 21 B-DAY! We are blessed to have Nick and now Bethany - I really appreciate Nick’s humble attitude even though he is extremely talented!
Big week this week – we have a lot to do – hopefully the restrooms will be well on their way to completion by this time next week!
I am out – time for Sunday night at the Movies – checking out a little Indiana Jones
