Sunday Night Reflections

Is it possible to have a more beautiful day then we had today in wonderful Western NY?! We got to hang out this afternoon with our neighbors as they had a graduation party for their son. So cool how God brings people into your lives that just months before you didn't even know they existed.

That is also how I feel about the growing community of people God is bringing into our lives through Elmwood. Every Sunday we are seeing a lot of new first time guest that are coming because of word of mouth invitations. I love it when I meet somebody (like this morning) who introduces themselves to me and then when I ask  – how did you find us? – they respond by saying my brother, or my sister, my parents, my neighbor, my friend…  that is what I call living out the iRULES!

I can't believe the attendance we had again today – right smack in the middle of summer! We had over 230 today in both the adult and KW environments! I can't wait to see what happens this fall when everybody gets back from having their summer fun and vacation.

It is great every week to see NEW team members become apart of the Special Teams Ministry. The Chapel at Elmwood does not exist without the incredible work and committment of people young and old, new and old every week so that we can create environments and experiences so that every man, woman, and child that walks through the doors can take another step toward their Heavenly Father and enable them to live the lives God created them to live!

Father God thanks for another incredible gathering, now helps us be light in a dark world!
