Sunday Night Reflections

Well we are 25 weeks old today – hard to believe that this time last year were just starting to gather our launch team and dreaming about what could be and what should be. I am blown away by what God has done over that time and what He will do in the weeks and months to come.

Today was week two in our Starting Point Series and we had a great day. Our Special Teams did a great job from set -up to break-down just can't say it enough how thankful I am for this group of people. While I am talking about our ST's we really need some new people to join us in every area. We are going to be expanding some things in the Atrium starting this Sunday so we need some more team members for Elmwood Expressions, Guest Central and the Resource Table. Please contact us this week either by phone or email and we will begin to plug you and get you inVOLVED.

We had our largest day since launch Sunday. We had 237 adults and 63 in King's World for an even 300! There was a ton of energy this morning every where I looked. Just walking around prior to starting man I was getting excited because I could just feel the excitement as everyone was coming in anticiapting the morning. We had 17 first time guest! That is so awesome to see.

I was really excited to see how it would go over having Andy Stanley speak via the big screen. From the feedback I recieved – I think it went over great. It was a very informative and helpful message for everybody that was there today. To many times I am afraid that christians feel like they have to check their brains at the door in order to "be a christian." After hearing what Andy had to share about the "evidence" that we have – I hope everybody feels better informed about authenticity of the Scriptures! I love being able to use different ways to comunicate the timeless truths of God's Word.

Can it get any worse for the Bills? I hope this is the bottom and we begin to work our way back up. Can't believe the injuries, really makes it tough to compete at a high level.

Wow let's enjoy the summer weather for another weekCool
