Sunday Night Reflections 08

Mother's Day is a great day to celebrate the one who loves you the most! We had a great experience last year at Mother's Day by going to the Chop House for their MD brunch – it's really nice – the kids are wowed – I get to show them (my boys) how to treat their wives one day and to show Carlee how she should be treated one day – and it's the only day we can afford to go! So we went back today and it was another great experience – had a great waiter which always enhances the whole experience!

This evening we celebrated Caleb's birthday which is also today – my folks came over and we had a party for not only Caleb but for my Mom (also M-Day) whose b-day is the 16th – one day after Carlee's 12th b–day – So Caleb had a great day. May is a big month for the Cockrell Clan – all 3 kid's b-day- Mother's Day, my Mom's b-day – it has a tendency to all run together!

I thought we had a great kick-off to our Incredible Family Series – and then we took everything and transferred it to it's new home in three different PODS and some storage that Al Rabin the General Manager at the Regal made available to us! We had a great team led by our fearless Makeover Team Head Coach Alex Adema! We were done by 11:30 – WOW! Thanks EVERYBODY!

Received a great email from a dad today that has been coming since we launched – after several months his Middle school daughter started coming with him – so today he let me know that she had picked up a Baptism packet and was ready to be Baptized! Now that is a BIG WIN! A dad walking his daughter through spiritual milestones – that is off the hook! I look forward to hearing dozens of more stories in the weeks and months to come!
