Sun is Shinning!
WOW the sun is shinning in Buffalo which is always a treat in the winter time in our City!
I have been sitting here listening in the background to Nick mentor a young worship leader that is just 14 years old… just the fact that we are seeing that one lone story is a blessing but that is just one of dozens if not hundreds of stories that God is speaking into at Renovation.
This past Sunday was another crazy good day… we are seeing an explosion of people coming to our 3 gatherings… we had 625 people all (kids included) together… we launched our 3rd gathering 3 weeks ago. We took a couple of tables out so we could seat 172 at all of our tables… we had 176 at the 9.00, 208 at the 10.30 and 146 at the 12.00… so we are going to put the table back up for this week!
I look back over the 21 days leading up to our launching our 3rd gathering… 21 Days of Discovery. My hope and prayer would be that this 3rd gathering would be a kind os spiritual mile-maker for us at Renovation. That many of us would pray, sacrifice, and invite God to do a great work beyond our capacity and we would see more and more people come to know Christ and to be transformed – renovated from the inside–out!
I can’t help but ponder if we hadn’t taken the time during those 21 days to pray, prepare and “do-without” would we be seeing this kind of harvest so quickly… we will never know but I am so glad we did either way because God marked us for new steps of faith in the days to come and we will be even more convinced to follow His direction because of His steadfast love and faithfulness!
