Saturday Night Live
I can't believe how fast the weeks fly by the "older" you get – it's crazy! This morning was cool to see some of our Elmwood guys at the Men's Breakfast at CP. It is always great to get several hundred men together to chow down on a great breakfast and to be challenged to LIVE UP in a world that consistantly is telling men to live down. It happens on the third Saturday of the month through the school year.
I can't tell you how proud I am as a dad – yesterday was parent/teacher conference at Carlee and Caleb's school. Of course any time I have to meet with a teacher I still break out in a cold sweat. So when we got the report from both the teachers that both were really doing well (I said – really?) and had made some academic acheivement, well I just couldn't believe it. I love learning (now) but me and school never really got along all that well. I was about one thing in HS and that was playing Basketball but my Dad had a rule that it was C avg or no ball so C avg it was – no more no less. So you can imagine my joy when I see my kids taking after their Beautiful and SMART mother when it comes to the academics! (most everything else for that matter)
I can't believe my OK Sooners are getting it handed to them tonight 
We are concluding our 10 week Starting Point Series tomorrow with the final chapter dealing with Eternity. Did you know for each of us we were made for forever and ethernity has already started for us. The most important question each of us must ask and answer inour life time is – how am I going to spend eternity? With God or Without God – we have no control how we were brought into this world we do have a choice on where we spend eternity. That is what we will talk about tomorrow – I pray that it will be a significant day in the lives of many people as they decide how they want to spend eternity.
Gloria said that the Open House for all the ladies went really well and that everybody really enjoyed getting to TALK and get to know each other better! ( wow that's so surprising
