Random thoughts before we leave for our third annual Letchworth camping trip.
- If you have tried to comment on this blog – you can stop trying. I had to stop the comments because I was getting a ton of spam comments that were not very "family oriented" if you know what I mean. Sick world we live in.
- This Sunday is FATHER'S DAY and I am declaring to all fathers who can hear my blog voice – come dressed for the occasion. That means dress in what ever way you want – I myself am coming in shorts/t-shirt and sandals. can't wait!
- This whole idea of Ultimate Authority is a tough one – no matter your age or season of life – starting with – living under God's authority. Such as starting the day asking Him what His agenda is for me today, thinking with the end in mind and what God wants for us is a different way of thinking.
- still pumped about seeing all the students this past week – if you are looking – come back again this week, we will again have the "pit" ready for you!!!!
- can't wait for our first church picnic coming July 1 at Delaware Park after our 9:19 Sunday Gathering – hope we have some good cooks
- can't wait to tell our students this week about a great event that we are going to jump into which will be a great way to serve our community and get to know each other better. We will tell you and your parents this sunday right after the 9:19 Gathering
- there is a great opportunity for us as a whole to serve our city in a real tangible way coming in August . There is three different events that will be happening down on the west side in August and all of these events need help from churches in order to share the life changing message of Jesus Christ in a way that people can hear it and see it! We met with one of the coordinators yesterday and told him that they can count on us. We will be letting everybody know what it is and how EVERYBODY can pitch in and help and serve. It is going to awesome
