Party Time!
It was a great day at Renovation today!
Awesome worship to get the morning started.
What a cool thing it was to have my dad speaking at Renovation and to see so many people come into a relationship with Jesus Christ. We stirred up a big party today in Heaven.
Dad gave an incredible message called Heaven and Hell and Everything In Between.
It was one of the best messages I have heard on this area that so many of us struggle with. Here are few highlights…
- Hell is a real place
- Jesus talked about hell 10x’s more then he talked about heaven
- God does not send us to hell… we choose that destination
- Separated from God in hell means no more love, mercy, grace, hope, 2nd chances, redemption, fulfillment…
- Separated from God in hell means constant regret for missed opportunities, constant torment, constant pain/suffering…
- Heaven is a new place…
- We will never become angels… it will never be boring… we will never play a harp and grow wings!
- There will never be anymore… pain, regret, hopelessness, sickness, death, suffering, disappointment, dieting
, death God has given us a way back to Him… - If there is no Cross between our birth and our death… if all there is is a dash… than we will miss the party!
Many chose to follow after Jesus Christ today… dozens of people raised their hands to declare their decision to step over that “line of faith”… it’s their best step ever!
One day those of us who have taken that step of faith will take our last breath on this side of eternity and we will enter the party… what a day that will be!
