Our Last 9.19
What a day we had at Renovation!
One of the coolest days, Spirit moving days, exciting days… we have had in our short 2 years!
I prayed this morning that God would just pour out His Spirit and favor on our gathering and He certainly did just that and then some!
The worship this morning was awesome… we are growing in our corporate participation and passion in worship through music – of course it certainly helps when you have a great worship leader and band to follow! We are so blessed through Nick and the band and vocalist that lead us every week.
It was great seeing the team lead out this morning… Joshua did a great job at wrapping up our series Facing the Unknown and then hearing from them all about God’s provision when it comes to so many of you… I had said that I thought we would need at least 60 new team members to effectively pull off a 3rd gathering and that is what we have gotten so far!!
Can you believe that?!
I believe we will have even more join the team in the next few weeks… you know I have found that you don’t really grow deep in your walk with Christ and others until you are willing to serve and when that happens watch out. I have seen people kind of stumble through years trying to “grow deeper” and only when they get involved to serve others intentionally do they really get to experience the kind of rich and meaningful growth that they had been desiring.
Speaking of an awesome day… we had 100 kids in Renovation Station!!!
That is just kids at one gathering time! That may be the most kids we have ever had on a Sunday!
Sunday is coming just in time… we had 2 full/packed gatherings and a full Renovation Station so next Sunday we launch our 3rd gathering!
We had our last 9.19 gathering this morning… we had a good run but it’s time to change it up so we can do more and see more people come to hear and see the transforming message of the Gospel!
I am on day 15 of the Daniel Fast… God has been showing me a lot through this fast. I have never done anything like this before and I am so glad that I am on this 21 day journey at this time. I know there our several folks who are on it with me, so let’s finish strong this week!
