Orange Value… Create a Rhythm
I did not expect to wake up and see snow all over Sunday morning… stupid me for thinking one day of warmth in Buffalo does not equal 2 days of warmth!
Thank goodness for our 3rd gathering so everybody could dig out and still make it to church!
It was another awesome day as we snag about the God we serve and who loves us and in whom we have a firm foundation! We also talked about our 4th Orange value… Create a Rhythm! If you missed Sunday you can hear and see it here.
This idea of creating a rhythm where God is the central part of our existence not just a category that we take down from the shelf on occasion to just put back up when that event/crisis/day is complete… is only accomplished with intentionality! It will not happen on just good intentions. This is important for each of us to realize no matter what age or season of life we are in.
It is awesome to hear stories of different people from married, single, divorced that this series is relating too… of course that is the power of God’s Word once again. If I can help influence people to do anything it is to stop living your spiritual life through some teacher/pastor/author… and to develop your own faith/relationship by getting into God’s Word – create a daily rhythm where He is speaking to you and you to Him. Books, messages, courses are extremely helpful but they can’t take the place of you and I personally digging into and building our relationship from a first hand account!
