One Week to Go!

I can’t believe but we only have one week to go as we finish up our most profound series we have ever done at Renovation… Renovation Project – discovering God’s best version of you.

Today was one of the most incredible days i have ever ever experienced!

We baptized 9 folks… 4 at 9.19 and 5 at 11.00 – we changed it up and had someone that was closely connected to each person read their grace story standing next to them in our portable baptistry. Hearing those grace stories was worth it all… God is amazing and hearing the stories of redemption in each of these persons lives was moving.

It ratcheted up our corporate worship for sure!

I knew that after all we have learned and discovered through this series that our topic would be powerful today – knowing what the Holy Spirit has been doing in so many people lives… talking about

having to go through some junk
in order to discover God’s best version of ourselves was timely.

If you were at the 11.00 gathering… wow – you could tangibly feel the presence of God throughout the place, I never know what all God is doing but I know he is at work in so many hearts, minds, lives.

Today many discovered how and why we can have hope through our suffering/adversity… here are a couple of highlights…

Romans 8:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

God isn’t at work producing the circumstances you want. God is at work in bad circumstances producing the you he wants.

On another note… the leadership team is so encouraged by the response of so many so far as it relates to joining a Strategic Service Team. We already had people shadowing today in Renovation Station. We will have to push our SSTeam Members to over 200 to pull off a third gathering! I promise that you will get more out of the experience than you ever have by just coming hearing me or someone else speak… serving strategically is life giving and life fulfilling!
