Monday Morning InSights!

Tried to get online and post my Sunday Night Reflections last night but to no avail so I thought I would do it this morning.

It was cool to have Chris hangin with us yesterday and leading us in worship. A desire that I have had since we launched is that in the arena of our arts, drama, worship that we would be able to have diversity. That we would hear and see and feel not just one kind of experience but we would be a reflection of the city we live in. There will be no "ONE" way to do things in heaven and I think we ought to begin the party right here right now and reflect a little "UP There" DOWN Here!

So cool to have a guy give His life to Christ BEFORE we even started yesterday. The conversations that I had with several people after our Gathering were so encouraging. We have a lot of folks who are struggling with some kind of addiction – trying to walk away, break the chains that has held them captive for so long – so glad Elmwood is a place for anybody, anytime, in any circumstance. The Father is looking for His children to come home – I think many yesterday began that journey - Welcome Home!

I told everybody that we are no longer looking at the Warehouse as a place for us to move into. I did not have the time to share how God maybe working in a new direction (literally)! I am getting ready to have lunch with a gentleman to see if there might be a possibility of us purchasing some property not far from the Warehouse, so if you read this before noon please pray for that conversation.

Talk with ya later!
