Middle School Kick-off!
The Family Ministry kicked off another season for our MiddleSchool HomeGroup tonight and according to my 7th grade daughter it was great! I really appreciate the leadership of Earl, Sean, Andrew, Janelle, and Hanna! It is always tough to raise up a student ministry but we have started and we will continue to gather momentum – insight for the needs of young teens in our city – a place of safety, acceptance, love, honor, respect… a place for them to meet, know and pursue their Creator!
We are getting ready to launch our first environment for High School students! I have been praying for and looking forward to the day we can get this critical area of ministry off the ground. If you are a high school student we are providing lunch this Sunday after our gathering at Buffalo Wild Wings – we want to get to know who you are – what schools are you attending… IF you have or know a HS student let them know we WANT THEM this Sunday!
Please keep our newest member of the Elmwood Staff Team – Josh Dean in your prayers – his father had a major stroke this weekend and is in critical condition.
Had the awesome privilege to meet with different pastors at different times today over different issues – God is doing an amazing work in the hearts of pastors throughout Buffalo – must make Satan really ticked when Pastors begin to really get along, pray together, laugh, cry for each other, pray for each other – for their families and churches!
What could happen if the agenda of every community of faith in our city adopted God’s mission over everything else? A revolution would take place maybe even a Love Revolution!
