Looking Back
This week has been a week of looking ahead and looking back. The reason I have had to look back is we are doing a pastor swap. Pastor Jerry is headed down to Elmwood this Sunday to speak about God Almighty ( just heard a preview and it rocks) and I am headed up to Crosspoint to wrap up the FORMED Series. I will be sharing some highlights of the journey that we have been on as a family through the launching of Elmwood and how God called us to this assignment.
It has caused me to look back at some of the things that God had to show me, teach me, correct me, convince me… you get the picture. I am really poor at keeping a consistent journal but what I have journaled over the last couple of years has been a testament to God's patience, faithfulness, love, wisdom in my life.
I can't wait for everybody to hear Pastor Jerry! It is because of his leadership and willingness to build THE KINGDOM that we have had a chance to do what we have been able to accomplish in just a few short months.
On the flip side I get to to go and thank some of the greatest and generous people I have ever been around at Crosspoint. I can't wait to tell them some of the stories that have already taken place and are continuing to take place.
