Let’s Get Ready to Party!
Ok everybody let’s get ready to party! Tomorrow is our “Official” Grand Opening at Renovation. It should be a great day. Band rehearsal was great this morning… we have Rene and Toni back singing with us again so it is going to be a day of worship for sure. We have decorated as much as you can in January living in Buffalo for a grand opening party theme!
I am praying that many new faces from the community will take the chance to come hang out with us. I had a lady talk with me after last Sunday telling me that she lives down the street and she had seen the article in the Riverside Review and she had been all four weeks and she loves Renovation. She said that she lost her husband a few years ago and that she had been living her life stuck back “there.” Now she wants to move forward and wants to get inVOLVED with what is going on… how cool it is that! I am trusting God that we can hear that story hundreds of times over the next few months… that there is something irresistible about what people experience at Renovation… that people will reconnect – connect – discover – who God really is – how He really loves them – how HE wants to give them a life worth living for.

It is really an intro to our first series of 09 called Wild Goose Chase. Mark Batterson wrote a book this past year called the same and it talks about a life that is lived chasing the Wild Goose. It should be a great way to start the New Year.
