Last Men’s Fraternity for the Year

Just got through with our last Men's Fraternity for the year and what a great morning it was. I have to admit that when I go to bed on Tue nights before a MF I have a tendency to groan a little, I lose that extra 30 minutes of sleep and when I hear the alarm I internally groan a little BUT after I am there and hanging out with a group of guys to talk about deep issues that us guys never get around to thinking or talking about I get energized and motivated! We talked about the All Alone Wound today and it spoke deep to every one of US. I have not done as good job promoting this environment and experience as I should have but let me say it again… if you can – come. No matter your age, condition or circumstance us men need this kind of environment in our lives! Next time we meet will be January 9. See you there!

Hey just a quick thank you to everybody that showed up at the Warehouse for Boxes of Love on Monday night. We had a good time wrapping gifts and a few families actually went out and delivered the packages. Really appreciate everybody contributing to the Boxes of Love initiative through gifts and money donations, Pastor Eric was very thankful for the help!

This Sunday is going to ROCK – can't wait to see all of KW kids on stage leading us in Jingle Jam Worship. How cool would it be to have theater 14 JAMMED full of people for Jingle JamSurprised!

I am really getting excited about our first series of 08 – T-Life. We have been planning this one for a while. It basically is going to be a 5 week conversation that is started with a question, WHAT IF…? What if… that's it for now.

Here is a great "What If…" question – What If Jesus had not yet come into the world? What if the Messiah, the Savior had yet to come to humanity's rescue? What would our world look like? Feel like? Act like? Smell Like? What would America "be like?" There would be no Christmas season, because there would have been no Christ yet. No churches, no Christians, no Christian book stores, no Christian music, us gentiles would still be on the outside looking in.

What if Mary had not been chosen but a few months ago to be the special young mom to bring this Gift into the world? The first mention of a virgin birth was just whispered to a young teenage girl to her devastated Dad and Mom. Would they believe her, would anybody believe her, believe Joseph? The "What If's" could go on forever couldn't they? What happened some 2000 years ago changed EVERYTHING! God – wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger brought a New Kingdom to this earth, the HERO came and changed it all – unfortunately most everybody missed it - how could that of happened, I am sure it wouldn't happen today!

What IF…?
