Jingle Jam!

We had a great time today as we had our annual (2nd time) Jingle Jam at Renovation…

I am so proud of our students as they led us in a great way.

Joshua Dean and the leaders of our Student ministry is having a great impact on middle and high school students. We have some 25-30 students who are a part of serving and working every week in Renovation Station. They lead worship, drama, tech, assist Small Group Leaders… we would not be able to have the awesome environment  in RS for kids without these students!

So today was a day to highlight some of these students and let all of us see how talented they are and how we are not waiting for them to be our next leaders but that they already are leading!

Some of these kids take the Metro on Sunday mornings to get to Renovation from the East Side and West Side… some of them have rode their bikes – walked in the snow – in the rain… some of these kids have some pretty rough home-life circumstances but yet they have found a place that loves them and where they feel accepted and they are learning to love and serve Jesus together (2 Timothy 2.22).

Appreciate everybody coming out this morning…

Can’t wait to celebrate our 2 yr birthday as Renovation Church next Sunday – don’t miss it, we will have some great music and stories to celebrate!
