It’s Tournament Time!
Well the big Dance starts today even though our own Niagra has already won a game! This is always a fun time of the year for me. Because of our travels we have had along the journey we have made many great friends and it seems I always hear from them around this time so that they can tell me who they think is going to make the Final 4 (they are always wrong and of course I'm right). This year is no exception. (SH,SW)
On another note we have been getting ready this week for our final preview gathering on the 25th. We have received all of our tech equipment in and so hopefully the video (line going through it), the lights and a few other things will be better for this next one as we gear up for the launch. It is crazy to think we are just a few weeks out from launch date and ALL that it entails from a ministry standpoint. I really appreciate the prayers and encouragemnet that so many people have given during this time.
We have talked about (and will continue) our iRULES=inVEST & inVITE. We have to be a church body that will invest our time, passion, energy, resources in each other and the community that surrounds us and then invite (them because of the strong bridge relationally we have built) them into an environment or an experience where they can see the love and hear the message of Jesus Christ and to enter into a relationship with Him.
We have talked about RISKing our lives = Giving up the life we thought we would live to live the life God has called us to live. We know from what Jesus has told us that if we hedge our bets we will lose, but if we give our lives to Him we will WIN!
Now that is MARCH MADNESS!
