It’s a Beautiful Morning

Great day in the morning, it is a beautiful morning in Buffalo. Went over earlier this morning to Niwanda Park across from Mississippi Mudds and spent some time just hanging out with the Father. I read the last four chapters of Job. If you want a little grasp of how ridiculously BIG God is and how pitifully small we are then read that passage (i was reading from the message) and go to a place of beauty like the river to not only read about the majesty and glory of God but you can see it as you read. Sometimes a different place can cause us to see things differently. It is easy to fall into a rut doing anything even spending time with God. I use a men's devotional called Fourth Seed www.maninthemirror.com  which is a great to track with and it has a daily reading schedule if you want to use it. Starting this Sunday men can purchase them at the resource table – it is affordable and helpful in the spiritual formation of men.

Can't believe that this is it – the last weekend of the summer. It has been an incredible summer – so thankful for what God had allowed us as a family to be able to do together and so thankful and excited for the progress we have made as a young community of faith. We have seen first time guest every week this summer. We have been able to get to know each other a little more through our picnics and through serving at Convoy of Hope (we will be posting some pictures form that event) and now through serving Public School #65 and Principal Mathews and her staff.  We will be creating more environments and experiences so that we can connect with each other and our community and taking steps in our growing relationship with our heavenly Father.

Enjoy the day, while basking in the beauty of the creation, remember and thank the Creator! Cool

Can't wait to see everybody tomorrow it is going to be a GREAT GATHERING!
