How Big Is Your God?
Have you ever asked yourself – how big is my God?
I find that many times I dont' ask the question but I do live out the answer. Which unfortunately to many times the answer is not real big.
Do you ever find yourself asking God for help or wisdom out of rote memory or habit without really honestly expecting God to help you or give you insight from above? I get frustrated at times by asking God to "work it out" and then 5 minutes later I am working it out.
Following Jesus is not a 12 step process, becoming a disciple is not found in a Bible study or a curriculum. Those things are certainly great but they are steps in the process. I will always be in a state of process when it comes to discovering all that there is to know and be as it pertains to being a Christ follower.
Are you discouraged by your up and down relationship with your Lord and Leader? Don't be – take rest in knowing that He loves you and gives grace to you and will extend His mercy to wherever you are.
If you find yourself having taken a step backward – step forward.
Have you found yourself having taken a wrong turn – do a u-turn come back.
Have you fallen to a place you can't believe – look up Jesus' hand is extended to you, take it.
Another name for the enemy is the accuser – don't believe him, don't sit and soak in it – it's toxic.
