Had A Chance…
Had a chance to hang out with 2 different dudes that have been coming to Renovation for a while… last night and then early this morning. I really enjoy hearing the stories of people lives and seeing Holy Spirit work in them and prodding them to the life they were meant to live.
Both of these guys have a lot to offer… just like so many at Renovation.
I love the name Renovation… it really is what we are all about at RC…
My prayer is that God will raise up an army of men and women both young and old willing to sacrifice and surrender their lives for Christ and able to do much damage to the enemies camp!
We got some bad news today… we had applied with the AmeriCorps program to get 2 members to work with us this year in developing our Renovation Xcell Program. We are wanting to develop a program that is more of a wrap-around program for the families in NW Buffalo. We are wanting to get our 501c3 status which would allow us to tap into some private sector resources that could help in making RX a great program for our community.
The first phase is to be a HomeWork Club type of environment 3 times a week starting this fall. You can be in prayer that God will direct our paths and provide other types of support/resources to allow this to happen this fall.
