Great Week at Renovation
What a week this has been for many reasons…
Of course its the beginning of March Madness and madness it has been!
Enough of that… (for now)
This week we celebrated our Official Ribbon cutting ceremony of are XCEL Leadership Center.
We had over 100 people show up and celebrate with us… we had family’s, partners and community leaders. I have been blown away by seeing what God is doing in our community through Renovation.
Did I say it’s been a great 1st weekend of March Madness?!
We held our first memorial service in the Aud this weekend for a sweet mom and daughter as they buried their dad/granddad. It was a special time to be able to accommodate this family who many of them grew up right in the West Hertel neighborhood. I had many remarks from folks who had not been in the aud in years – we can’t always accommodate different request but we were on this one and it was special time.
Today was an awesome day as we continued our Modern Family series and specifically how we allow the flaws in our spouses to help shape us to be who God wants us to be and become.
We had Ted and Shelly Travis as our special guest along with my wonderful wife Gloria. Let me encourage you to get Sacred Marriage and read it!
Interesting to see that we had more at the Noon gathering than we did at the other two!
