Great Day to Sled!
I took the kids out to a new sleding hill for the Cockrell family. We went behind the Albright Knox Art Gallery – we had heard that this was a good place to sled in the city and it was. Just the right size hill when you have a 3 yr old in tow – if you know what I mean! The kids have had their winter break this week (I remember actually having to go to school w/o ANY breaks when I was a kid) so we have been able to do some fun things together. I like what Mark Batterson www.evotional.com said in a post (Moments vs Minutes) this week. I want to experience the moments that God gives me to share with my kids not just fill up or just endure the minutes I have with them. If you are looking for a good movie to take your kids to see (1st - 6th grade) try the Bridge to Terabithia. Lot of great issues that kids deal with come up in the movie and it also helps us "old" folks to use our imagination and to think like a child again. It's a lot of fun but be for-warned Carlee declared it the "sadest movie ever."
