Final Sunday Night Review for the Chapel at Elmwood

Here it goes, my final Sunday night review for the Chapel at Elmwood… Wow.

Where to start.

It was a great day! God was with us all morning in a significant way.

I was moved in so many ways at so many moments… here are a few

When I woke Caleb up this morning for our final ride to get donuts for the makeover team… to see my son go through his weekly routine of setting up the resource and guest central table.

When I said “good morning boys” as I always do when Caleb and I walk thru the side door in Aud 14  bringing the donuts that they  so “desperately” need to do the “work of the Lord.”

When I walked down and into Aud 10 and heard the prayers of the MakeOver Team for the final time.

When we had our final pregame meeting… and we introduced 3 new team members!

When I saw people walking into the Atrium one last time

When I saw Jennifer.

When I saw the line of people who signed their name on our canvas.

When I thought about all the stories of Grace that were looking back at me.

When we sang our final song together… the first song we sang together… Not to Us.

When we lined up and started walking down to Renovation Church… some 200 hundred people marched together!

When I saw about 5 people pushing BJ’s broken wheel chair down Hertel.

When we joined hands and prayed and sang together inside our “new home.”

Thanks Father for Your goodness, faithfulness and grace… thank you for what Elmwood has meant in all of our lives… help us to inVEST this experience into greater Kingdom work for Your Fame and Acclaim.
