Facing the Unknown
Can’t wait for Sunday as we finish up our series Facing the Unknown… what an awesome look into the life of Abraham. We have experienced seeing the Call that God put in his life… then seeing this ridiculous relationship based on a covenant that God Almighty initiated and made with Abraham… then seeing that God’s timing – a divine delay – was not what Abraham and Sarah thought it should be. We have seen that even through all their mistakes (some really bad ones) God’s steadfast love and faithfulness was amazing…
We were reminded Sunday that their God is our God!
We are going to finish Abraham’s story with his 4th encounter which initially was a devastating encounter but God came through just in time!
I have asked the Leadership Team to help tell a little of our story of provision over these last few weeks as we are preparing for Super Sunday Feb 6 when we go to 3 gatherings (9.00/10.30/12.00). God has blown us away with incredible people stepping up and out to get inVOLVED and join our Strategic Service Teams.
I am also going to share just a hint of where I think God is leading us as a Faith Community in the months to come as we continue to be on mission to spread the transforming hope of Jesus Christ to every man, woman and child!
