Elvis is ALIVE!

I took a couple of days off of the blog after I posted the small novel about Steve Saint – great story!

Anywho – did anybody catch Elvis on stage Wed-night with Celine, that was pretty amazing – I have to admit, I have always been intriged by the life of Elvis and I have always liked that song so I thought it was a pretty cool. I know that ages me somewhat but oh-well.

I am loving this time of year – Sabres are making a real run at Lord Stanley, the NBA play-offs are rolling every night, I love watching Steve Nash, Love watching Max, Briere and the boys, they do crazy stuff on ice – still blows me away and of course I think Jack is in real trouble- he is a troubled man!

I can't believe that this Sunday will be our last day of the IV Series. I can't believe a lot of things when I stop and pause what God has done over the last 12 months. Only God can take nothing and make something as special and incredible as the formation of a new community of faith. He has added The Chapel at Elmwood to the untold thousands of other community of faiths called churches to make up what He calls His bride which is the capitol C – Church world wide.

This week is going to be really cool for a couple of reasons – not going to spill the beans but if you like being in on the "first" of things then don't miss this Sunday – we will be doing a "first."

Can I just let anyone that is reading this in on a little secret about me. I don't have this whole Christ-Following life all figured out. I am man who fights all types of temptations – anger, greed, ambition, pride, lust, acceptance… the list goes on – sorry just thought I would get that out there and let you know even though God has called me to serve this community of faith called The Chapel at Elmwood and I am as excited and jacked about what is happening as I ever have been in my life – I will recieve any and all prayers for wisdom and guidance. God has not launched us in North Buffalo just to build a name for ourselves but to actually bring the LIGHT of Jesus into this community and begin to see life change  one life at a time.

I am praying that God will bring to Elmwood (church) those who have declared themselves as Christ followers – the "convinced" to partner with Him and us to reach every "unconvinced" little girl, boy, man and woman that we can with the life changing message of Jesus Christ!

Let me encourage us all to try to bring somebody with us Sunday! Can't Wait!Cool
