2 Missing Ingredients of Discipleship
1. Emotional Health
Emotional Health and Spiritual Maturity are Inseparable
It is not possible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature
Present Day Reality of Many in Our Churches
Christians are living off other’s (pastor’s,teacher’s…) spirituality
Our lives are on the run
We our scattered, fragmented, un-centered, over-loaded, distracted
Most have only experienced a head not a heart experience

WE HAVE TO GET TO GOD – as leaders – SO THAT WE CAN BRING GOD TO HIS PEOPLE.
It is easier to be busy than to spend time with Christ in silence and solitude.
We must cultivate our relationship with God –
Contrast Saul and David
Saul never cultivate his relationship with God
David always did – he passionately sought God’s face!
