Day 2
Alright how is everybody doing on their first couple of days of fasting?
I have heard all different types of fast… facebook, sugar, coffee, even a person fast. I know there are quit a few folks joining with me to do the Daniel Fast. I gotta tell you I am missing my coffee and coke zero for sure!
I think every commercial is either about food or drink…
We had a great day yesterday discovering what it meant to “cut a covenant” and the incredible picture of Jesus Christ cutting a New Covenant with us and for us!
It was awesome to see that we had many first time guest with us even though it was stinking cold out!
We are continuing to get ready for Feb 6… Super Sunday as we go from 2 to 3 gatherings… 9.00, 10.30, 12.00 noon.
I hope many of you have been praying about which gathering you are going to adopt as your “home” time. It would be great f we had 100 people say that they will make the 12 noon gathering their home time for the first 6 months so we can have some good high energy critical mass of people at that hour.
Also, we need parents to decide which of the 2 Renovation Station Environments that you are going to call home. We need for you to determine that except for rare emergencies your family will attend either the 9.00 or 10.30 and not just bounce from one to another. This way we can really get to know your child and they can get to know the awesome volunteers that will be leading them at one particular hour.
Joshua has told me that we have gotten some really great new leaders joining the already superb RS leaders… I can’t to see it all in action in just a couple of weeks!
