Christmas Recap
Wow it has been a great Christmas for the Cockrell clan! We went Monday to the Christmas Eve service at Crosspoint (6:00) which was great, love to see hundreds of candles lit.
We had a great time going to bed and then waking up on Christmas morning. It is amazing as every parent knows the unique difference between each child. How can three be soooo totally different when they come from the same gene pool?! I love it though because it makes for excitement, frustration at times, laughter, joy, frustration at times (oh I already said that). We had a great time getting up and everybody reading a few verses from Luke as we re-read the awesome account of the Christmas Miracle! We opened our gifts (next to impossible anymore) and played with all the new stuff, called our family in various parts of the country and just chilled for most of the day. We went and hung out with some great friends for dinner and realized on the way home that another Christmas had come and gone but the memories will last …!
I have to admit I am still blown away with the great day we had at Jingle Jam this past Sunday. I don't know what to expect this Sunday but I do know that the band is going to be playing some of my faves! You guys voted for the Best of 07 and the results are back with country being at the top of the charts! Buffalo is a BIG Country Music town so get ready for a little Tim, Carrie and Rascal Flatts for our cover tunes and some GREAT worship tunes that I just love and apparently you do also! Make sure you are on time – 9:19 because we kick off with a great version of …!
