Can’t Believe It’s Saturday!

Wow… can’t believe it is Saturday already!

This week has flown by as we are in a full court press getting ready for Summer Jam 2010!

The billboards look great and we have 150 yard signs all over NW BUffalo.

Had one of our city official offices call me last night wanting to know how they and other elected official’s could get involved and help…I thought that was great!

Summer Jam is our way of celebrating our community in NW Buffalo. My brother Jonathan is bringing his HS and College and adult workers up again to partner with us from Scottshill Baptist Church. This is there 5th trip to Buffalo. These students have been preparing since February for this trip. They have been praying for our community with maps of streets and schools asking God to do a great thing at SJ this year.

They have been divided up into teams and have been getting ready to lead all the breakout sessions during the small group time of the evening programs… they did an awesome job last year at this.

We (RC) also have about 25 HS and adult workers who will be staying all week on campus with Scottshill… so there will be about 175 people staying all week on campus, spending the night having a great time.

We will be doing work projects in the morning all around the city and then coming back and getting ready for the SJ program in the evening… so it makes for a busy but incredible day.

Here is what will be happening starting next weekend…

Saturday July 24

150 HS & College with Adults get in 12 vans in Wilmington NC and make the drive to Buffalo NY arriving @ Renovation around midnight.
