Back At It!
I have been off line the past couple of days as I was trying to get back in town and get ready for today. Had a great time hanging out in Tulsa Town and heard some things that were really helpful in several ways. I may post some of those things in the coming days.
It was great to get home to see the fam especially when I got home and Gloria told me that we had SOLD our house that we have been trying to sell in Williamsville! I must say I thought a few times that God’s timing was a little off but of course it never is He’s always right on time!
I have been pumped all week about today’s final preview and also nervous since I was out of town, would everything come together, would we remember how to put everything back together, would anybody show up… well today was incredible and the TEAM came through like Super Bowl champs!
The video of the ipod/songs about life was great and the video clip we made in the cemetery was off the hook good! Props to Nick and the tech team for doing a great job!
The worship was great and powerful. Jenna and the band did a great job leading us and it was good to have Brett Larson come and hang with us today.
I could actually see today! The lights were not in my eyes and I could see faces and responses which is really helpful when you are communicating!
I don’t know yet how many first time guest we had but there was a bunch. We had 185 adults and 81 kids/workers in KW www.kingsworlsrocks.com . For a total of 266!!!
To see people coming in, kids all over the place – I was jacked up! Great job of inVESTING and inVITING!!!
The best news of the day, 3 people decided to ‘drive up the on ramp’ and start their journey with God!! Can you believe it?! I was thrilled to hear that 3 people decided to connect back to God and begin a life-long journey that will last for forever today. It makes waking up early, setting up, breaking down and all the stuff in- between when you see God move and work like that. So mark it down, March 25, 07 we saw 3 that were lost and who are now found! Would you pray with me that God would allow us to partner with Him to see hundreds and thousands of men and women, boys and girls who are lost relationally find their way back to Him?
If you are a part in any way with making Elmwood happen can I say from my head to my toes, thank you. We had a couple of church planters from Oakville ON. www.thesanctuary.ca with us today and they were blown away by the ‘people’ of Elmwood. I gotta tell you I am blown away by the team of people God has put together to accomplish the mission He has given us!
