An Incredible Day…

Today has been one of those incredible days that God allows you to experience…

Started out the morning with some of my favorite dudes… Men’s Fraternity! We meet every Wednesday morning from 6.00 – 7.30 AM in the Renovation House. Loved the offline conversations that we had… blows me away to see these guys taking big steps in the understanding of who God is and how He has made us men and how He has called us to live!

Went with Joshua to get a quick workout in… i’m trying!

Finished getting everything ready for our joint monthly luncheon that we have for everybody that works in the Chapel Network… usually it is at Crosspoint but we hosted it this month. Had the Teen Challenge guys in yesterday to get the place cleaned up. We had a great time hanging together… fiesta day was the theme so we had some killer mexican food!!!

Bill Buyers and the Mayors Impact Team came by and ate with us which is always a pleasure… Bill and his team do a great and thankless job of keeping the city clean so this was our chance to love on them a little.

Also had a chance to thank Pastor Jerry and the Crosspoint Team… thank you from all of us at Renovation for their investment into what is happening here at Renovation… their generosity, help, heart for us is an incredible blessing!

We broke the tables down in the basement and got ready to do a “dry run” in the basement with our Students tonight…

Just came back from walking through the campus… we have adult mentoring going on upstairs on the 3rd floor with Renee Mapp… we have Club 56 in renovation station… walked downstairs into the basement to see 50 or so kids having a great time in their new environment… walked over to the house and there are a bunch of ladies having a great time “crafting”… they had snacks so i thought i would at least say high!

Prayed with Mary and her daughter Molly Sunday because they are going with a group from Crosspoint on a missions trip to the Dominican Republic… she was “crafting” tonight and she said they were still going even with the earthquake in Haiti… I want us to take a crew on a Missions Trip this year if at all possible!

So it has been a full but an incredible day to see what God is doing at 567 Hertel Ave!

Thanks Father God… you are awesome!
