A very late Sunday in Review

I know it's Tuesday morning and I am jsut know taking the time to sit and write out what has been in my heart from Sunday.

The Cockrell clan is in Washington DC this morning getting ready to drive back to Buffalo. We left town right after our two Easter Celebrations to spend a couple of days with Gloria's mother in DC and to also experience the White House Easter Egg Roll tht is always on the Monday after Easter on the south lawn of the White House – more about that later.

Sunday was a GREAT day not only for what we were CELBRATING and WHO we were celebrating it was a great day in the life of ELMWOOD. I don't really know where to begin but I'll start with Alex and the Makeover Team – you guys (girls) just rocked it – from getting there early, to doing the little extra's that make a huge difference – not just getting by,

First Impressions Team, David and Jodi and the whole team – WOW – you guys made it happen from outside in the Parking lot, to greeters at the DOORS, to serving at Elmwood Expressions to the ladies at Guest Central, the ushers getting everyone in and out… it was just slamin' good!

King's World - Earl and the TEAM - there was a buzz in the hall as kids were leaving Sunday – kids had a great time and had the truth of Easter pressed down into their hearts and minds in a GREAT way – the great hero's of the Faith are going to be those who served KIDS just one of my beliefs' KW as ALWAYS I love what you do and how you do it.

Dont' fo it often but can I just say that working with Al Rabin, Jennifer, Richard, Jared and all of the staff at Regal not only this past Sunday but all year long has been one of the great experiences for us over this past year – they are great – and of course a shout out to Brittany and her crew for always getting the Theater looking greatr for us every week!

One more "way to go boys!" goes to Mike, Dennis, Tim and who ever else chipped in to make the DOORS – what a great visual impact it had – lot's of work and I thank you!

When we talk about trying to reach every man, woman and child and doing that by creating Environments and Experiences that allow people to CONNECT to God and to Others – Sunday is what I am talking about!

We had 368 total on our second Easter – that is GREAT – keep inVESTING and inVITING –

Anyway – back to DC – we went to see and to say Hi to President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush – it was pretty cool – DC is an amazing place – crazy to see Military/AntiTerror Soldiers extremely loaded on the roof top of the White House and walking around – they sure got me and my boy's attention!

Carlee loved it because the Jonas Brothers performed on the South Lawn – you should have herd the BIG screams out of little girls when the brothers came out – funny – not sure if I am ready for the "middle school years" of a daughter Frown!

We are headed back this morning – Elmwood I love You man!
