21 Days…
This it the last night before we start 21 Days of Discovering… discovering more about God than ever before because we are choosing to spend 21 days of “sacrifice.”
As a faith community I want to lead us into giving up something that is near and dear to us… you name it – because we want to collectively say God we love you, we thank you for all that you have done for us and we want to give up for 21 days not because we have to but because we want to and choose too.
I have found another resource that I think will be helpful and inspiring. Awakening is a national (some outside of USA) movement that over 1000 churches are participating in. It is a call for 21 days of fasting with all kinds of helps on the website. I don’t think they have the Daniel Fast (i didn’t see it) but they have other kinds for all ages… facebook, games, tv… the only thing you need to adjust is that they started a week earlier so just adjust the dates and you should be fine!
I am excited to hear and see what God is going to do in Renovation over the next 21 days!
