20 Days till Launch!
Just watching a little 24 tonight. I must confess I have been a big fan since minute 1! Jack always seems to pull it out some how. On Sunday mornings I feel like the Special Teams is a little like CTU trying to get it done just in the nick of time!
I am headed to Tulsa, OK for a student conference www.elevate07.com at Church on the Move. They have an incredible student ministry called oneighty www.oneighty.com . I have been out there before and it is amazing what God has done. They started the church back in 1990 to reach children and students. They now reach over 3,000 teenagers a week and 4,000 children! There are 4 of us going from Elmwood and Crosspoint and I am praying that God will begin to show us how we might find new ways to reach the 20,000 kids 18 and under within 2 miles of the Regal. We have 3 high schools within a 2 mile radius of the theater not counting middle and elementary schools.
I am so glad to be able to launch day one with a great children's ministry, KING'S WORLD! I think kids are going to love what they experience when they come to Elmwood. I love those special workers who are dedicated to making KW the best hour of a child's week! I think they are going to get a special reward in heaven and a bigger house than the rest of us!
One thing that The Chapel at Elmwood is going to be is a group of people inVESTING our time, energy, and resources in the lives of children and teenagers!
I can't wait to see what God is going to do through you!
