Sunday Night Reflections

I don't know how many times I can keep saying – what an incredible day! But here I go again – today was incredible! We had a ton of visitors – we had the church planting crew from Sringville with us again, so cool to help another group of fellow – Kingdom Advancers! Jennifer Adema our Campus Director had her family in for the weekend and I know a lot of your brought quest with you today so once again  I am blown away. We had over 280 in total attendance which is crazy for a church plant 12 weeks old – so great job for inVESTING and inVITING!

Can't believe we just finished our 3rd series – this was not any easy one to swallow at times but the TRUTH will set you free. I really appreciate all of the students coming down and hanging with me during this series. Learning how to handle the authority in our lives is such a critical issue for students to get right. If they can get a handle on it while still in their teens it will set them up for great success for their future!

I hope everyone got the word about our first picnic this Sunday. One of our motto's at Elmwood is "everything is an experiment" and our picnic will definitely be one. Our strategy to reach our community is to create environments and experiences that allow people (of all ages) to connect to God and others – this picnic is an example of this strategy. Can't wait to be able to have time to just sit and relax and spend time getting to know some new friendsCool

I have to get up early in order to play in the SLU Golf tournament that our student ministry at Crosspoint is putting on tomorrow morning so I am out of here!

FATHER thanks for all that YOU are doing!!!
