Nothing like a little dose of reality!
Got up early this morning and went and played a little ball with a couple of friends down at The Hup in Hamburg. Nothing like a little dose of reality as to my age – condition – and the slippage of skill… but it was still good – can't imagine heaven without hoop.
Hanging with the Cockrell boys today as Gloria and Carlee are out and about – hopefully we can keep the house together. I plan on swinging by Kenmore West Homecoming game – go Blue Devils!
Really pumped about covering Chapter Four of the Starting Point Series tomorrow – I have been at times overwhelmed by the story of creation and all that happened in the first three chapters of Genesis this past week. Tomorrow we are going to look specifically at what happened to this perfect place that God created – how did we go from perfection to what we have now!
If you have a friend, family member, co-worker, classmate who has yet to hear or stepped over the line of Faith into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I would invite them out for lunch and then ask them to hang out with us first at 9:19!
