Life Is Spelled – TOUGH!
Isn't life spelled – Tough? I am so thankful for my Heavenly Father's incredible gift of mercy and grace and to know that He is understanding, caring, sensitive to all my junk but still life is tough. Pain still hurts, loss is still agonizing, loneliness is still real, My Father did not say that we would not have those things to deal with but He did say that He would be with us in them and help us go through them.
Hurting because of a loss – a lossed loved one, a lossed job, a lossed opportunity, a lossed relationship, a loss of integrity… Let God bear the weight of the pain with you – He said I will be with you – cast your cares on me… take the pain of those things and let God use them to make you more in HIS likeness or character. I don't ever want to go back to being the man I was before the tough stuff of life came my way – I want to be different, more like my Father – closer to Him.
It is the valley's that I tend to find out who I really am and who I am not rather than the mountains. I love the mountains but I need the valley's.
If you find yourself discouraged take heart – don't quit – don't stop – God WILL make a way!
