Facing the Unknown

We launched into a new series today at Renovation called Facing the Unknown… a modern day look at the life of Abraham. The story of Abraham is nothing short of amazing!

We had just an awesome day at both gatherings…9.19 was full and 11.00 was packed!

We had great energy as we worshiped thru words both sung and spoken.

Joshua told me they had 17 people that were shadowing in Renovation Station getting ready for Super Sunday and beyond as we go from having 1 RS environment to 2. That will be awesome…even today we had probably 20 kids 5 and under in the 11.00 gathering so it will be great for our families that have children 5th grade on down to  have 2 options!

I hope many of you took me up on googling a great man of God by the name of John Perkins. His book Let Justice Roll Down should be read by everybody! John is coming to Buffalo as the keynote speaker at the Regional CCDA conference… more info to come!

If you did not catch all the notes from Mark Batterson from this morning I included them here…

The biggest blessings of God trace back sometimes to the smallest steps of faith.

Hebrews 11:8

*God wants you to get where God wants you to go more than you want to get where God wants you to go!

The harder the path, the tougher the climb, the better the view.

Genesis 12:7-8

We have a tendency to remember what we should forget and forget what we should remember.

21 Days of Discovery is starting next Sunday so be in prayer about what God will have you sacrifice for 21 days as we prepare our hearts and minds for what God wants to do in us, through us, and all around us in 2011!
