EchoLoud

Several weeks ago we passed out orange wrist bands to all of our students. I have been meaning to post the meaning behind "EchoLoud" but keep forgetting so here it is.

The EchoLoud band was inspired by a line in the movie Gladiator. Maximus is about to lead his Calvary into battle and he says, "Brothers, what we do in life ECHOS into eternity." We believe that our lives EchoLoud in eternity for the glory and renown of God. Thus, ECHOLOUD. The band is orange, depeicting the same intentionality as LIFE preservers used by vouagers in the ocean, against a neverending color of blue yet in the MIDST of the sea, the color orange is highly visible. In the same way our LIVES should be distinctly different and in contrast to the norm of culture while existing in the EPICENTER of it.

Dash Student Ministry are the folks who we are partnering with to impact our students. I have always loved their approach to impacting this generation of students and their desire to have them live lives that ECHOLOUD
