Blast ON!
What a day! We blasted off at 9:19 and now Elmwood is ON!
It was a crazy morning as we saw people start rolling in early (and late). I just want to say what a great job all of you who are a part of our Special Teams did today. You all knocked it out of the park!!! I was watching team members greeting people from the parking lot through the lobby all the way back to KW and you did a bang-up job making everyone feel welcome and special. Just can't get over all of you who have chosen to partner together with Jennifer, Earl, Nick and myself to make Elmwood a place that is extraordinary not for our fame but for GOD'S fame and honor!
We had 229 adults and 75 plus in KW so we broke 300 today which is great! Everybody did a great job inviting/bringing people with you today! I did not see any of the folks I had invited and maybe you had the same result. Don't be discouraged let's continue together to inVEST in the relationships that God has provided for us and one day we will trust and pray that we WILL see them come not just to church but to Christ.
We kicked off our IV Series today which is unpacking our four main values [God Trust Love Mission] that we are going to live by as a church and as Christ followers. We said today that GOD is to be our highest value. Next Sunday (so cool to say) we will be adding to that and talking about Truth.
God thank You for today and thank You that you have chosen us to partner with YOU to accomplish Your Dream!
