An Early Christmas Gift!

For the last two years our offices have been in a small building where we shared offices with a couple of other businesses. It was great to walk into our office and have “other” people around. Most churches staff’s by the function of the building never get the priviledge of working in a normal open setting where the community just walks in and out. It was a great place. Only problem was as our staff grew the 10′ by 10′ offices grew smaller! We had started with three then we were able to get a fourth. By the time we moved we had 6 people and our volunteers working out of 4 rooms so it was time to expand a little. So God provided a big house! With lots and lots of rooms…

One great big new blessing (to many to count) for all of us is that we all have a window! Our old offices were on the inside of the building and none of the offices had a window. What a gift a window is when you have not had one. When we walked through the new “big house” now called Renovation House everybody was scoping out what room they would like to have for their offices. I grabbed the one with the best view. Out of my window as I am posting this I can see my new world move up and down Hertel Ave. People – all kinds of people…young getting on a bus, old getting on a bus, walking, driving… I get to watch the snow fall… people throw trash on the street… a dad walking his little girl to the bus stop… Life is right before me… a window… a reminder of why I am here… thank you Father God for the simple gift of a window may I use it to become who you want me to be and remember why You put us here.
